the thread about nothing...

I believe at times they need to throw a game or match in order to follow a script or they will face dire consequences. The same applies to the entertainment industry. These celebrity deaths are not a coincidence.

Face dire consequences?

Celebrities deaths aren’t a coincidence?

She gonna come back to school w/ a burner. And we will be like another school shooting.?!?!?

They saw her fell and continued thier dance routine. Foul.

I’m pretty sure that was a try-out, hence why there was a camera recording them. If I was trying out I wouldn’t have stopped either.

Do u have an example of when u think a player or team threw a match?
IMO tonight's NFL game Packers vs Bears was scripted. Aaron Rodgers looked like he'd be out for the season then in the second half he re-entered the game like a Superhero and lead his team to victory after trailing 17-0 at the half. NFL ratings have taken a hit, and the last game tonight to kick off Week 1 just so happens to be the most thrilling? Doesn't that make your Spidey senses tingle? They want Stephen A Smith, the Aaron Rodger's Stan to go berserk tomorrow morning. This is the headline that regular folks working 9-5 will be reading when commuting to work and discussing at work with their co-worker tomorrow. They will be even more hyped and tune in for Monday Night Football and the following weekend's games. This is the type of scripting orchestrated by the league and the media. There are also different types of fixing or scripting such as the involvement of crime orgs, corporate sponsors, or family/friends. An example of the latter is Player A agrees with his friends and family to not get more than X number of rebounds so they can win on a prop bet.

Celebrities deaths aren’t a coincidence? So you think it’s scripted too?

I was referring to the part where if they do not comply, they will face dire consequences. So in other words I do not buy most of these stories that so and so who was 25 died from overdosing. They signed their name in blood in order to get their celeb status. When they do not play ball, they get offed to send a message to the others that the same will happen to them if they renege on their deal.

So you think every player and every coach knows games are scripted and they just all keep their mouth shut?
Some games might require more players to know the script. It depends on how elaborate it needs to be. In the example I provided with Player A, only he and his friends/family needed to know. I'm not insinuating that every or even most game are fixed, certain ones are and sometimes it may or may not be obvious. It all depends on the situation.

I explained how it is so well-kept. If their lips get loose, they will be 6 feet under!

Any coach or player could just send evidence to a news outlet without providing their name

U think the NFL would take such a high risk of murdering people when they already make billions of dollars?

It is an unwritten rule to do this and ****. Why would they spill the beans and ruin what they have? They are in such an exclusive club. If you are offered 10 million a year to play ball and throw a game here and there, you can't keep your mouth shut? The one outlier I can think of is that NBA ref who wrote the tell-all book but he obviously was not nearly as wealthy as the coaches and players.

Lol u think not ONE player in the history would spill the beans on that massive scandal?
You realize the morals and character of some players?

If someone blew the whistle on the Catholic church conspiracy
Someone would have said something about an NFL conspiracy.
That's far too big for something not to get out.

I find it hard to believe everyone is on the same page.

After all these years, the most outspoken person was the ref and ref fixing is among the lowest level of fixing. So I would deduce that the leagues have run a tight ship. Besides, everyone who watches sports should at least have a slight bit of skepticism and assume that there could be some sort of fixing albeit minor.

How come it took decades for the women who Cosby supposedly harassed to come out? Sure the whole Me Too movement followed thereafter, but some of these reports are from many moons ago. How were these incidents kept under wraps for so long?

Wait "leauges" ???

You think other leagues are scripting outcomes as well?

It is possible and happens in every professional sport, even in Collegiate sports. I'm not saying I believe every game or even most games are fixed or scripted. But there are definitely some that are. It could be one game in the entire season or every other game.

If saw her I would've been clowning her while dying from laughter. Then i would help her out.

Morning tan...did not really enjoy week 1 of the NFL...missed the EPL with the international break.
Vaca to colorado was so nice. But back to work this week. Super tired today

My new dermatologist has this policy where if you have a bill due they keep your card on file and just charge it....like i get it....and its not that i won't pay...but i think im going to go find a new one just because of this policy. I had asked if i could get a phone call or anything before they just up and charge my card they said no.

So i just got hit with a $100 charge for my last visit after i paid my $40 co pay. So before i got an explanation of benefits from Blue Cross i get this charge so i don't even get to reconcile it to see whats going on. IDK i know i would pay the amount anyway but this policy rubs me the wrong way.

Is it a credit card on file or your insurance card?

Just call em up tell em you lost it and get replacement card. Your dermatologist won’t be able to charge the new card unless you give them the new card info.
