the thread about nothing...

So I managed to convince maybe 4-5 cousins, maybe more, to come out for my sister's surprise bday dinner Thurs evening, for 5pm..along with one of my sister's friends.

But now I just learned that she has an interview at 230 pm. If it runs long, or worse, if the interview goes badly, it can ruin everything. I'd never be able to convince her to come out.

I don't like the unknown variables. Not sure if I should go through with the surprise. She's been going on interviews. One she thought it went well but then they changed their mind basically after the fact, and other interviews have gone poorly.

You have to convince family to come out for a surprise bday dinner? Sheesh

So, why not adjust the time to 6 or even 7PM.

And regardless of the outcome of the interview, encourage her to go out and take a break to enjoy her birthday. That might be something that helps take her mind on the job search.

My sister is the kind of person that when she's upset about something, she becomes guarded and likes to be alone. Forcing company on her when she's like this may make things worse.

I just realized she's a complicated person to plan a surprise for lol.

Then reschedule the dinner on the weekend? Or better yet, have dinner prepared at home for her.

She reacts the same way as me lol

Take a break from your normal routines to detox from the triggers that cause your anxiety. Rest at home, go to familiar places with a family member or friend. Think about your daily routine.

I'm sorry you're dealing with anxiety. My wife deals with it from time to time, to the point where I have to call off from work to help her.

Told my boss a few minutes ago I’m taking off of work tomorrow

I don’t like, nor am I qualified to self diagnose but I have either stress or anxiety building up

Early last year I went to the ER from an anxiety attack and they suggested some of the things you mentioned. Heart was beating crazy fast and I couldn’t function. Sometimes you just gotta put everything on pause for a day or two.

I think I convinced work to order a bunch of junk food for 4/20

Like lunch Taco Bell and donuts and cup cakes lol

MW2 is arguably the best shooting games ever made. I was never into shooting games, but someone from work at the time (best buy) told me buy it, since it was on sale plus the employee discount so I was like what the hell, nothing to lose.

Man than game created me do ungodly things. We had a thread on nt, so dudes would create lobbies. Man some nter was going ham on everyone in the live lobbies.

Too bad the game is crazy hacked. Hopefully a remaster's and more secure game is release for the newer consoles. It was truly a great game.

Heard it'll be campaign only, no multiplayer

Yeah, refresh and re-organize/prioritize your schedule. Not worry about anything but the tasks at hand for today.
