the thread about nothing...

Whenever I see posts about the office on Reddit, there's always comments saying they can't watch Scott's Tots when watching the series
Why not? Because he lied to kids about promising them full-ride college scholarships and instead got them all laptop batteries?

For me, the most cringeworthy episode is Phyllis’ wedding. Michael was ultimate cringe throughout that entire episode.

Eh, Michael's an idiot, among other things, if it offended people that much I'd be surprised they even watch the show till that point. He did a bunch of ridiculous **** before that episode that would upset people

I didn't realize people had issues with the Scott's Tots episode.

If anything, he's done more things in other episodes that are just wrong.

And, that leads me to my next point...I'm not confident with the new Office Reboot.

‘The Office’ Revival Eyed At NBC

NBC

NBC might be closer to a return for workplace comedy The Office.

Speculation about the network eyeing a series order for an Office reboot with a new cast and developer Greg Daniels started last summer when Deadline first reported on the possibility. NBC sources at the time were stressing that there were no negotiations.

Talk about a revival of the workplace comedy has continued in light of the ratings and critical success of another NBC comedy revival, Will & Grace, with Deadline’s sister pub TVLine reporting that a revival of the 2005-13 series is being considered for the 2018-19 season. It would again be set at Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton, PA., branch with a mix of both old and new cast members. Steve Carell, who starred as the branch’s regional manager Michael Scott, would not be involved, according to TVLine, and that role would be recast.

NBC Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt revealed during last summer’s TCA that anOffice revival was on his wish list.

“We often talk about The Office; I’ve talked to Greg four times over the past few years. It’s always, ‘Maybe someday but not now,’” Greenblatt said in an interview with Deadline during NBC’s portion of the TCA press tour. “There is certainly an open invitation, but we don’t have anything happening right now. If he wants to do it, I would do it.”

Stay tuned.

I disapprove of this.

Without Michael, its not the same. Even after he left it was still kinda hard to watch with andy and dwight, etc as manager.
I like how they ended it though and should leave it at that note.

I never understood this whole blogger / social influencer thing.
But I see these folks getting sponsored + getting free clothes/stuff, so it can't be too bad.

Agreed. People act as if you can't block/ignore people on SM.

Get out of your screen and look around you. Go for a walk or something. IG/Snap/Twitter are NOT reality.

Some people think the internet validates then in some way

I’ve thought about this a lot

All of us as social beings want to verify some type of existence, whether it’s through talking, or interacting with others online

People became addicted to likes and the other forms of validation in online media

The opposite is true also, some enjoy to go after others online

While yes, you can simply walk away

But the internet is forever

What if everyone at a school started talking crap about someone online specifically to target that individual

Then when they get to school people carry that on and alienate that person

Cyber bullying can have real world consequences in this day and age

Imagined order. It’s how our society works. If cyber bullying isn’t a real thing then neither is society or the government. We all measure ourselves on some given social structure and to a lot of kids that grew up in the Internet era that structure and community is this social media. When they lose face or are bullied in that sphere it hurts them as bad as it does for people in a more old school traditional society to be ostracized and ridiculed.
