medium rare is great with a chef you trust. I usually go medium so I don't get a live cow, but less than a decade back I was getting it well done so...progress.

Those self checkout machines can be confusing though

I only use those things cuz I'd have like one item and every other line has ten people on each line

There was a time when I accidentally scanned the same thing twice and I couldn't figure out how to undo that So I spent like ten minutes on one item because I wanted to figure out how to cancel and start over

I apologize to anyone who got angry waiting for me

what's funny is that Big Box CEOs fired people to use those, passed the job that they used to have on to you, then gave themselves a nice raise with the money saved on wages.
