I'm not a bartender but I am a nurse. I feel like we do the same thing except instead of taking orders and dispensing drinks it's meds LOL

Lmao and you get paid a real wage, that was a little frustrating but it covered some debts back in the day and I learned how to do some fancy **** for the ladies ... not like dispensing drunks isn't interesting

How long did it take u to learn how to make all those drinks.

I was like 20 when I first started learning, I was a heavy drinker at the time and pops have always liked to treat him so good drinks made by a professional from times to times so I quite knew some stuff beforehand because of him, I learned at this place called Le Monde in the UWS , down from Columbia U, it took like 2-3 weeks of intense training and some fast paced night shifts to get the hang of it, like by heart, it was a french rest so Wine was the think I served the most ... 

 

Man I hated Mojitos/Caipirinhas and I loved the Expresso Martini but it was a pain to make... so anytime somebody get in the bar and order one of those I was like, hell man, there's 20 ppl more, why don't you get a beer or and old fashioned like a real man **** This ain't Aruba *****

I ordered this monster of a 40 oz steak. I only got through half of it and I'm full AF. Idk if I even wanna take it home with me cuz I know it won't taste as good in subsequent days.

They quite simple you can't mess and of AND also it was sort of what you enjoyed to make, let's say that a Negroni or a idk a French Martini, both have 3 spirits or more, those classic drinks are easy to do but they aren't quite as stupid as a Mojito or a Caipi and it's what most of the people order if you're not in a specialized bar, there's different, everything is much more complicated .

Anyway is some good stuff to know if you're single and living alone with a good bar at your place

It is very interesting. I almost wanted to try out bartending on days I don't work one time but then after I started paying attention to how stressed bartenders get I was like, nah [emoji]128514[/emoji]

I have to remind myself sometimes that I live a blessed life. Yes, I get down sometimes cuz a lot of my friends are in relationships and seem to be settling down - one is even married with a kid and more on the way - so they're not alone but I do have the luxury of some expendable income and the occasional lay.

A lot of ppl live everyday with a lot less.

Still, one day I'm hoping I can find that relationship a lot of ppl in my life seem to have attained
