Growing up, I was the life of the party. Traumatic event happens, I get PTSD and it basically stunted my growth as a social person. I stop talking, my friends leave me, I look like someone died half the time so nobodys gonna take another look at me.

All that time spent being emo and alone, it starts to become a habit and you lose your social skills because you don't use them.

Lately, I feel good and confident for the most part. I'm holding conversations with people now and it's not awkward like it was when I was younger.
But most of that might just be me not caring what other people think anymore

I am ugly though fr, that and I have an awful voice so girls either hate me or love me, there's no middle ground

I feel you on the traumatic event and PTSD. Basically almost got killed couple yrs back and was diagnosed with PTSD, depression and some other things. Felt exactly how u described...still do sometimes. But tbh i just dont give a **** anymore. Im blessed to wake up every morning and try make the most of it cuz any day can be your last. As far as talking to females, man i feel like i can bag any woman and ive had females call me everything from sexy and handsome to ugly. I just dont care anymore. You only get 1 life...live it up man
