I just finished watching season 7 this weekend too. I didnt even go out saturday night, i just stayed at home watching the whole season until like 2am.
This series is right up there with The Wire as far as the writing goes. If theres one thing The Shield has over The Wire, its more action-packed by far.

Great show man. The writers and acting were spectacular. It seemed like they knew the right balance to make you hate/love Vic and even Shane for that matter.Shane was prick but in the end I did feel sorry for him. The ending was one of the best I have ever seen. Vic's facial expression and actions described thecharacter to the letter. I miss this show and think Im gonna have to pick up those seasons. Definitely appreciated
