The RETRO Gaming Thread!

I do as well man. That N64 era for multiplayer games (IN PERSON) is untouchable. Damn I miss those days.

This isn't technically retro since it's a bootleg from Ali express, but plays/feels exactly like a game boy colour and its backlit

. 34 bux if you want to replay your game boy collection without the need for a well lit area.

Been playing one of my fav games from childhood
Speaking of backlit, I'm glad I grabbed a GBA SP when they were cheaper/easier to find. They can play all Gameboy games up through GBA titles, and the backlit screen came in handy for Gamecube titles that use GBAs as a controller:

The only bad thing is the ergonomics since it is so small...

I dont know how many of you know about this place, but it is vintage video game heaven. all you can play for $15. and they get prototype, import, and scrapped arcade games. They got primal rage 2 in 2014 and recently got beavis and butthead :eek

I feel you bro, I copped an SP-101 for 10 bux in my prime game collecting days off CL :smokin. Really don't like the form factor though, and I don't like how a GBC cartridge sticks out on it. I still use it to play my GBA games once in a while, but I prefer the regular GBA form factor (will attempt a backlight mod one of these days) or the regular DS lite.

 Amazing

Random: One thing I love about old adventure games is when you defeat someone as a stage boss, they end up becoming regular enemies on stage after that.

I remember this game- we had it for our old PC. Only problem was that you had to enter a password just to start the game, and the password sheet got lost at some point, so we couldn't play it anymore. I guess they were trying to avoid people making copies of the floppy disk, though you could just make a copy of the password sheet, too...
