 no need I made my point he made his....we just agree to disagree. I think Live/Madden is good and he and reviewers don't. Doesn't change my perception of the 2 series.

 My only question tho is if Madden sucks why keep buying it? Is it simply because its the only one on the market? Or do you find some enjoyment from playing it? 

Great question. My favorite sport is NFL by far, in fact I spend more time playing NFL 2K5 with updated rosters on the Xbox360 than I probably should tell anyone. After purchasing Madden 2009 (and yes it was ONLY because there was no other NFL game to buy) and trading it in two weeks later I promised to never purchase a Madden game again. Well, Madden 25 came and I thought I'd give it a shot. Turns out that wasn't the smartest move. :x

Fair enough I can respect it....personally I didn't care for 2K5. The controls weren't for me i guess....Hated constantly having to tap X to sprint instead of just holding a trigger along with a few other gripes.

EA Sports can make a quality game... its called Fifa.

But with Madden, it seems like I've been playing the same game since Madden 2001. It even seems like the character models and animations have never really changed since then. IDK, thats just my .03 cents.

Tbh if I were going off track record I wouldn't even buy 2k. The game has been unbalanced imo for a few years. Best one to me of recent years was 2k11. Ever since then 3's have been OP, up and under layups were 100%, literally no defense, offensive rebounding being over effective was a big issue. Haven't played 14 because I was waiting for PS4 but some of these and other issues still are in the CG version from what I read on other boards. I'd rather try for myself tho. That being said VISUALLY 2k might be the best looking next gen title. But if Live can deliver on what they're trying to do with the constant updates to reflect real life play from players as the season goes on that's huge imo. More than enough to make up for not being as pretty. No more subjective ratings =

Seen a pic of Madden 25 and it showed Kaep throwing the football, yet you also see Kaep on the sideline at the same time

But don't yall use the Sliders? I go straight to Operation Sports to look for the most realistic sliders because these developers can never get it right.

Nope I hate the idea of sliders. Why should I have to tune a game man I should be able to play out the box. I play head to head online mostly too so.......

From MY experience is what I should have said. I hate seeing people bring up 2k5. Was it a good game? Yes, but we're in 2013, people need to let it go.

As for the defensive complaints, I agree to a certain extent. You can't just pick a defensive play and think it'll always work. Gotta make adjustments.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, I believe Madden is kinda modeled based on how the NFL was played the previous year. Take this year for example, this past weekend had over 60 TDs scored. If that trend continues then offense will continue to be the main focus.
