It's so that you can't record bits that will be spoilers.
On the Vita the screenshot function doesn't work in certain parts for certain games so you can't screenshot spoilers.
It's all up to the dev though since a lot don't bother with it for Vita games.

I played something random yesterday. It was rayman legends. Consquently, I bought rayman origins for $12, since the enjoyed the rayman legends demo.

Someone posted something a day or two ago from Sony that had this snuck in there towards the end. I was surprised when I didn't see anyone comment on it

If games allowed you to play music in game i'd be pissed but I don't think I've ever played a single song off of my ps3 in the 4+ years I've had it

Idk the mp3 thing has to get updated in the future for sure. Since I use a headset anyway I just plug my phone into the amp for my Turtle Beaches and play music from there and turn the game volume down. Granted they wont work at launch until they push out the update that includes the usb headset support
. Might just pick up the PX4s and go wireless anyway

i did sometimes with sports games on my 360.. i would just turn down the broadcasters

I'm disappointed in their decision to not let me play my music. I wonder if Xbox got restrictions too.
