The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

I like 9 but I got bored of it after a while. Same with 8. Always on the last disks for some reason. 7 and 10 had me hooked. 12 was okay as I played it a few years after release and it reminded me of an MMO with the way attacks worked.

I only played 1 and 2 other than post SNES. I really need to play 6 badly.

Yeah bro play 6 for sure.

Copped ME: A from GameStop

Is the campaign worth playing yet or should I hold off for more patches?

7, 6 and 9, 4 and 5 in that order IMO are the best. Put 10 on there somewhere too.

9 was decent if you could get passed the load times. Chocobo hot and cold wasn't so bad and is the way to get to fight ozma which was a dope fight.

Crash 1 was kind of hard not even going to lie :lol

Crash 2 is perfect tho

Not too hard and so much fun :smokin

did anyone get the $15 back from spending $100? It was supposed to send the codes today

12/6/9 are all that really matter..7 was too easy..story was epic but I just want great gameplay/re-play value

Ff12 and the prima guide buy together save 15 new GameStop ad

Didn't see nothing else good besides 30% trade in boost for crash and ff xii

I honestly don't understand how anyone can say 6 is better than 7 or include 6 on their list but not 7.

They are extremely similar in the way magic works, in the way that all characters can pretty much be like each other (I.e. they can learn the same summons, magic) and one of the monsters that later becomes a summon is so similar to another monster in 7.

On top of that the world of ruin is eeh...

Both games have dope music and a dope end boss...

It's just hard for me to place one over the other or leave one out altogether.

the characters and their different functions in 6was the best feature..I struggle with whom I want to have in my party cuz I like using most of them

WOR? Had dinosaur island..best grinding spot

And I don't see how 7 was any easier than 6.

Especially with vanish doom xzone shenanigans or finding Ultima weapon pretty early in game, or using the forest to max everyone out by fighting brachiosaurs and trexes while also at the same time getting the cursed shield to become the paladin shield...

And the best of all, mog as a dragoon.

What makes 7 any easier than the above in 6? Or rather what makes ppl say that 7 is easy but forget about the things that broke 6...?

7 had a special attack (don't remember what it was) where u just have to wait for a bar to fill up and then just press x..I don't kno little things like that bore me..and those special attacks wipe out anyone..does nothing for me

6 u had to enter street fighter like combos..also had battles using 3 diff parties at once..u had to come up with strategies/game plans

I understand ppl love 7 the most..but I'm not that crazy about it

I've never played IX, but VI will always have a special place in my heart as will IV.

I was never good at fighting games, so I always had trouble with the inputs for Sabin. When I finally got the hang of it though :hat

That was my first FF as well. I actually never owned the game until recently when I scooped a copy off eBay. There was a local video game rental spot down the street from me and my dad would just rent that game for me like every two weeks :lol

I never played The After Years or any re-releases. I might have to check those out.

After Years is crazy..I love the 16-bit graphics..it's available on Wii and Vita? I think..had it for the Wii

I wish SE would at least give us FF VI via new3DS VC.

Limit breaks didn't wipe everyone out unlesss you grinded really hard early on.
It's not even comparable to vanish or xzone doom. Or the celestiad/economizer from 6.or quick magic

I honestly don't think there's anything one could do to break the game in 7 that wasn't present in some way in 6.
