The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

I have to avoid the Crash hype man. Y'all got me really wanting to cop. Y'all know I got a huge backlog :{

The Gamestop trade in 6 games and get either a extra 60% or 70% with gamestop pro power up membership is legit.

First GS store I stopped off at I traded in: MLB The Show 15, Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens, Star Wars Battlefront, The Order: 1886, Batman Arkham Knight, and Until Dawn.

Walked out with $53 and some change. My GS pro membership was expired so I only got 60% extra trade in credit. I renewed my GS pro membership.

Next went home and scooped up: FFX HD remake triloogy, Ratchet & Clank, Dishonored 2, and Mario Kart 8 for NES Switch. I already knew how much Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens was worth and it was only $19 at Target. Other places like Best Buy snd Walmart still had it for $29. Copped 2 more copies of Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens from Target.

Went to GS store #2: Traded in 2 copies of Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Ratchet & Clank, Dishonored 2, Mario Kart 8 for NES Switch, and FFX HD remake. Walked out of GS this time with $170 after the extra 70% trade in promo, and chick at the first GS store gave me a extra $5 promo card to use and stack on my next trade in.

:lol :hat

Also the best games to trade in while this GS promo is going on. Most people who know about it because of NT, Neogaf, Cheap A*s Gamer, Slickdeals, and reddit have more than likely raided and cleared out store inventories of the cheap $19 games are on sale at BB, Walmart, and Target to get the best GS trade in value prices. I honestly would say at this point checking out your local above listed stores is a waste of time at this point.

The GS trade in promo runs until the 9th. GS store employees know whats up and store #2 told me GS corporate was probably going to kill the trade in promo soon because of so many people taking advantage and abusing it :lol

Have a craving to play my first JRPG in over a decade. Only one I've played before is FFX.

Should I do FFXII when it drops soon or is there something else you guys recommend?

Also, thinking about picking up ME: A today for $20

Worth my time or should I pass over it? I'm a big fan of the OG trilogy.

XII probably would be your bets bet.

Persona 5 is supposed to be very good as well.

Never played any Crash Bandicoot games since I didn't own a PS1. I at the time had a Nintendo 64.

My PS1 memories are playing Gran Turismo 1 & 2, and FF VII at one of my homies house after we got out out of our high school classes.

Crash Bandicoot N Sane HD trilogy. I'm waiting to see if my Sony employee connect comes through and if I can get a digital download code for $10.If he can't I'll eventually cop it down the road. Right now I still have a big back log of games and mainly spend my time playing MLB: The Show 17 after work.

If you had PS+ and had automatic save uploads enabled, then you can retrieve them from the cloud.

If you backed up the saves to a hard drive or USB flash drive, then you can load them back on the new PS4.

If you didn't backup the saves, unfortunately, they are gone.

If you have PS+ you can store you saves to online storage.

So if you buy a new PS4 once you login with the same account info you used on your old PS4 you can access all the game saves you uploaded to online storage.

If you don't have PS+ you can transfer your saves via a flash drive.

Today I learned

Also perfect timing to get rid of Until Dawn since it's one of the free PS+ games for July.

I got 250 off trade ins, barely remember what I gave. Plants v zombies gw2, assetto Corsa, gta 5 all net like 40+. I'll just buy gta again when it's cheaper.

Also best buy has plants v zombies gw2 and amazing Spiderman 2 for 19.99, 14.99 with gcu. Both will get you around 50 bucks.

Wait GTA V will get you 40+ in trade in credit by itself? That's enough for Crash.

That's if you do 6 games you get the 60 or 70 bonus.
Oh ok, I see they give an extra 20% for trade ins towards crash on top of the bonus I think, may just see how much that'll get me tomorrow.

Ended up getting $90 from the trade in with 5 going towards renewal. Don't even know what to use the credit on :lol then I got $150 at BB from buying a Rift
