You said "it seems" like he's only a shooter fan, which is the sole reason he thinks Knack is trash and why he prefers the Xbox One controller. Unless you read minds, you do not know why he prefers it over the DS4, yet half your post was about talking down on shooters.
So yes, my point still stands.
There's was a whole page, several pages back, in which people were posting about how Xbox fans only play COD and other shooters as if it were a fact. So again, this makes it very ironic that the biggest PS4 exclusive is a shooter.

I wasn't going to say "I know you're a shooter fan" because I don't know that for sure.
You misinterpreted what I said. I said "It seems that your a shooter fan, so of course you would think that knack is trash."
No where in that sentence did I imply that he likes shooters because he likes the xb1 controller.
I asked him 3 questions about why he prefered the xb1 controller over the ps4 controller, so of course I can't read minds.
I remember that discussion, which I don't think that I participated in it.
Just an FYI, I'm a shooter fan and I prefer the 360 controller...and I'll probably prefer the xb1 controller over the ps4 controller due to analog stick placement.
Also I didn't like the ps3 controller when I owned it...5 years ago.

MY IMPRESSIONS FROM HOLDING BOTH CONTROLLERS WAS INDEPENDENT OF MY LOVE OF SHOOTERS. I HAVEN'T EVEN PLAYED A SHOOTER WITH EITHER CONTROLLER .
MY COMMENT WAS STRICTLY BASED OFF HOW EACH CONTROLLER FELT IN MY HAND. THE SIZE OF THE XBOX CONTROLLER, STICK PLACEMENT, GRIP AND TRIGGER RESPONSE FELT BETTER THAN THE PS4 CONTROLLER IMO. NOT SAYING THE DS4 IS TRASH BECAUSE IT FELT VERY VERY GOOD (THUMBS UP FOR THE TRIGGERS ON THE DS4, THEY ARE AWESOME). I CAN SEE MYSELF GETTING A GOOD AMOUNT OF PLAYING TIME FROM MY PS4. i was contemplating skipping over fps's this year, but Driveclub's delay is probably going to force my hand. BF4 seems the likelier choice for me, but I might give KZ a look. At this point FIFA seems the only game I'm certain to pick up at launch, though.
