The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Well, just don't go asking for apologies for your dumb theory that can't even be proven true.

It is more about their reasoning behind it. They said that they miscalculated demand and that is hogwash.

They know those statistics way better than we do and have known them for a long time. All of these things are forcasted. They would not blindly drop a game without understanding the capacity needed.

I do want to play the game though :lol

That's not how developers or publishers work though. As a sane person you might sit back and say "This is their market they should know the demand, they should know the server capacity." Yet every release for a major game it's the same **** the servers are overloaded and bandwidth and load balancing aren't good enough. Blizzard has been at this **** over 10 years and I couldn't login to the latest WoW Xpack for 3 days and it wasn't stable or playable for over a week. FF XIV launched and they had solid data about pre-order numbers and had just stress tested with a public beta THE WEEK BEFORE and people couldn't login or download the client for days.

I obviously don't know but have thought about the fact that most game servers struggle at release but it has been months and this joint ain't out for PS+ either way. That is my main point. I am joking 50/50 joking when I say that this is a conspiracy :lol

There's a lot of other things involved. I've never dealt with a game hitting PS+ so I don't know what their specific TRC requirements are but I'd assume it's both something being screwed up on the dev side and something that Sony isn't happy with.

Either way, I don't think there's any type of conspiracy. They're not the first dev to lie about when/if something is going to release and they're not going to be the last.

Speaking of TRC requirements, I just learned this week that you can't day 1 patch a demo on the Xbone or PS4. Both Sony and Microsoft have rules in place against it. Which means a certain demo is in trouble. :rolleyes

Another suggestion, since i tried share play w My boy on dyijg light and its just pretty grainy (no noticeable lag tho so thats a plus) and therefore i do not feel i gt a good feel for it would be to buy used from lamestop then return before 7 days....lamestop is blockbuster 2.0 to me.

trade it in on 99ganers.com. You'd get 65-73 coins for it.

Dying Light worth picking up?
I've been trying to get my fix for a zombie game...
it's a great game, the etory didn't do anything for me though. I got about 14 hrs into it, but I'm only 30% done with the story. It's mirror's edge with BRUTAL combat and a good atmosphere.

Ehhh, not sure how much the story will do for me. Trying to debate if it's that crucial, possibly not. Have you tried online gameplay @iYen?

the online strictly mode will get boring fast. It's called be the zombie. It's basically a 1v1 deathmatch. Coop is fun though.

Beat the game twice 100% in single player and co-op and 80% of the side missions.

It's a great game with some of the most fun game play I've experienced in an open-world in a long time. The amount of freedom you have is tremendous.

Maybe beat at least 75% of a game before giving opinions on it. It's only fair to the person asking for advice on whether or not they want to shell out $60 for a title.
It's literally nothing.

REAL TEARS

This needs to come out on PS4. Arcade only for now but look at the graphics.
If SE releases this, all is damn forgiving. They can troll us as much as they want after

Another 1000 hours plus if it comes.
