actually, might not be a slipknot, but a knot on each.
I do this to each lace. keep it somewhat loose, so I can hop in and out of them

I lace my jordans like this, the shoe strings are too long to leave untied.

I'd be more afraid about the swoosh falling off. Sole separation isn't too difficult of a fix.
