Maybe the perfect time for me to start selling my collection finally, fewer discounts already, first Saks, now Bloomingdales you can’t use promo codes. The days of crazy steals seem to be gone, some may pop up every now and then tho.

Glad i racked up the last few years. I got 2 bins of unworn gear ready to go at any given notice. Pulling out pieces that are rarely seen 2-5 years later is always a good look imo. I rarely buy something and put it on asap.

The Tee or the hat? Late 90s polo sport had some gems but because it was considered played out by then people tend to overlook it.

The Tee. Haven't worn mine since South Beach. And yes, it was overlooked in time. One time on VGA, someone said, "There are no Polo Sport grails", and I posted a pic of that joint, and the room got...

Just came from the outlet in Jersey … they got the yellow, white and orange one… I copped the yellow… came out to $43 after discountsDoes anyone know if RL.com ever puts the Polo Sport towels on sale? I feel a lot of the Polo Sport items don’t get discounted, so curious on thoughts if the towel will go on sale eventually (not trying to drop $70 on a beach towel)

, I went down to the basement to inspect my own Polo Sport Sailboard tee, and this River tee is hanging right beside it. This tee is SO rarely seen, even the one or two old leads I used to have on them out there have disappeared into the ether. haven't seen one on da bay since I copped this one, years ago. If I see another in my size, it's "on sight". (My personal "on sights" are the only reason I'm still in the game.) Another "sure glad I got mine", moment. There used to be a guy on da gram that had a picture that said, "Oh, cry me a..." and then his back to the camera. Can't even find that, anymore. Eyes need to gaze upon one of these every now and then to keep it in the Polo atmosphere.
ALSO - on the hunt for that particular "pre-hi tech" slim patch as pictured below. I've re-studied the game from way back, and that patch was the '91-'92 bridge between the ones seen on old "Polo Country" chore coats and windbreakers, and full-blown "Polo Hi Tech" patches. It, too, is getting exceedingly hard to find. I have three of these patches; one on the river, one on a plain blank Ralph t-shirt, and one on the below almost as rare raincoat. That style rain coat pops up constantly. One with the patch? Damn near never.
