Saw the black cat jacket @ 72 & Madison. It's really nothing special imo. Sleeves feel cheap AF; kinda like vinyl.


On the train today, I peeped the Daily News and saw a picture of a RRL jacket. Turns out homie who shot his gf then 2 cops was wearing this:

Not sure why this was of any importance to the article, fluff.

Sad to hear that jacket is cheap smh... The pic of the cop killer was posted yesterday but deleted.

Sleeves felt like vinyl because its 60% cotton/40% nylon. I'm not paying $500 for a cotton/nylon jacket.

I'm not a fan of that cotton used on that jacket though.

I have other RL items with that type of cotton and it just feels dirty to me. Plus it looks ashy after a few wears.

I agree, the majority of RRL items are so ridiculously overpriced...

Jackets dope. It's thin and feels "cheap" for the money, but about the last 4-5 rrl varsity's have felt "cheap for the money". The previous wool version was much nicer but is obviously for a different season.

The bill looks kinda long on this joint.

RRL charges $100plus for cotton tee's not really a shock to me on the price more of a disappointment on materials. Still swoop if it goes down to like $300 or less.

The Ross varsity, with leather sleeves, was $690. I knew it was gonna be lightweight, that said $500 is a lot, rrl price is never really justified especially with the varsitys

He is pronouncing Ralph last name incorrectly. I heard from RL Execs it is a peave of Ralph's and mandatory that everyone dealing with Ralph or high level execs say his name correctly. A very easy way I was corrected years ago was to think of it simply as a woman's first name. The name is American as is the brand, not french as suggested by the mispronunciation.
