Top whatever lists are just there to cause traffic. The more outlandish they make them, the more attention they get.

That said, I cant argue alot of their choices so far. I've only played probably 50% of the games listed and I already disagree with a few, but I generally just use it to learn about games I may have missed in the past.

Tactics, VI, and VII will be in the top ten I would have to assume. Dragon Quest VIII probably top 20 (Nevermind, I see it is 27). Skyrim will be top 20 as well. There will be games that I love that wont even make it I bet. Good to see Wild ARMS, Valkyria Chronicles, and Odin Sphere make it. But Legend of Legaia, Grandia III, Vandal Hearts, ect probably wont make the list.

Guild Wars 2 is getting some crazy hype. If I cared enough to buy a new computer I might look into it, but the expense and the time I'm already spending on games... I dont need another vice.

yup.  one of my main thoughts while looking at the list and thinking about the care that went into making it.....at least even thinking about......made me think ok - bookmark.  im a defintely check out at least 1 off the list. DL an emulator or sumthin if i have to.  i haventpc gamed since doom 2, 11th hour.  i see why ppl mmorpg tho. its dope. i just started last month with OR and man.....it's so good. plus its like 50 games in one with all the variations of class and moral paradigm ala MASS series, also by bioware. i pick up OR about as much as my ps3 these days which isnt much.  i have so many ps games backlogged (including ps2/ps1 games) it's overwhelming, so i pick at it here and there. i figure to be about 40+ games deep i really want to beat, and not to be done until about 2053.  

yeah im TEMPTED by guild but ill wait. just waiting for 14. since ps3 when a game came out i never poured over it, called off work school etc, just to play it for a week straight or whatever,.

but man oh man.......14?! on ps3?! connected with pc heads as well as close friends from both my personal and nt life?!  WRAP.  cave time at least 3 days.4-5 tops....

IGN gave it a 9.0, eventhough they could not find any major negative points.

Sidenote- Playing THPS HD on Free Skate is kind of additive. Just listening to those old school rock songs and trying to make a nice line, is pretty fun

Killzone 3's singleplayer was awesome despite the story being all over the place. The MP was a step back from 2. The inclusion of mechs and jetpacks was the worst thing to happen to the series.
 

The Dinobot DLC pack released for Transformers: FOC on the 11th. Its not worth spending 10 for four skins. If I still have the game when its discounted, I'll think about getting it, but as for now its not worth the money.

I disagree; I thought the KZ3 MP was pretty solid. The set pieces that happened when playing Operation were pretty cool. I only played for the first few months, though. As soon as I got the platinum I moved on, so I missed the DLC. I remember only playing 2 for a few weeks.

Single player was awesome, but like JHawk said, a little weird in the story department, and setting itself up for another game.

Conner moves almost human like in fighting scenes, the choreographically is done well.

Not sure if this is old news, but I was at work (Australian Retailer) today and noticed two new PS3 SKUs on the system. A 500GB "NEW PS3 SLIM" and a 12GB "NEW PS3 SLIM". $388 AUD and $288 AUD respectively. We are unable to order stock of existing models currently as well. The latest possible delivery date for the stock is the last week of September, with 17 and 27 of each model on order.

Interesting, The price of the current 160GB would have to drop then. I’m seeing 160 GB on Craigslist for $140 though, I don’t think I’ll get a better deal than that.

Sooo Good, I wanted one but the price plus shipping and possibly VAT and customs will be too much. I also wanted the Final Fantasy 25th anniversary bundle but theres no way I can afford it. Glad to see 2 of my favourite franchises reaching 25 years.

I can't to see how it looks in TGS. The 12GB is probably to challenge the 4GB 360 and Wii-U In pricing and the 500GB for those who want all the PS+ goodies.

Squaretrade has warranties that covers basic use, spills, and accidents.

If you ever have to use your warranty, you just log onto their site, file a claim, and ship it in with a prepaid shipping label(if you're product can't be fixed).

They claim that the process takes no longer than 7 days.

I've had to use my squaretrade warranty and from my experience it's true.

360 is getting it at the end of the month it sounds like. Because PS3 got the game about a month later, I dont know if we'll have to wait another month or if we'll get it the same time. Neither system has an official date.

The first pack will have:

3 Maps: LA, Canada, and Airport

2 Skaters: Geoff Rowley and Steve Calballero

Revert: Bringing back the revert move (able to string manuals when landing on a ramp to continue combos) from THPS3. However, you'll only be able to revert on the DLC maps...

Probably be $5
