Feel like his philanthropy has been pretty well documented, no?
Documented, yes. But if there is anything else that they can put out there that can overshadow his philanthropic efforts then I think that’s what they do first, and often, and somewhere in the white noise of it all then they’ll bring up the good **** that he’s done off of the court.

it is but we got screaming A calling that man selfish every time he gets a chance. Myrie tweet some vague stuff and it’s a lightning rod. Him giving back is one of the last things you hear about

Even with the above tweet of the clothing line, highly unlikely people thought he was giving back. Just more ‘selfishness’

Yeah that was the tweet I saw, definitely didn't post it as a statement of agreement. People love to point fingers man and be judgy.

I completely understand what you're saying. But I also think it's completely natural for sports media to discuss what he's actually doing basketball-wise most prominently

Having to then comment on what he does philanthropically as a caveat is just odd.

I think it depends on the source/person. Every time I say something about Lebby, Kyrie, Rustle, etc that may be viewed as a criticism,I make it clear that I respect all that they've done off the court for a variety of people. It speaks to high moral character. But that doesn't mean other parts of them, both on and off the court, are not flawed. Most of them aren't even "meaningful" flaws/actions but as professional athletes and public figures, they are going to be brought up.
