Its been 20 games and you're a part of the org. Coming from elsewhere I would be less shocked by a statement like this.

So you're less turned off by what was said and more by who said it. I feel it.

True, first-tier franchise cornerstone guys are rare. Bing’s probably right that Cade isn’t one of those, if that’s the point he was trying to make. But why he felt compelled to declare that after 20 games is hard to figure out.

Pretty good company minus that guy in Philadelphia. Mobley might end up being better but he’s in a way better situation to succeed today than Cade. Barnes too

Even if Mobley ends up being better, I don't think he's technically "a guy you build your team around" either. He's never gonna be a #1 option. I like Cade's chances and feel like I've been higher on him than most, but yeah there's a solid chance a lot of those guys are probably 2nd or 3rd options or so on a great team. Nothing wrong with that. Not every draft has bonafide #1 guys.

I can’t say you’re wrong, but it’s so close in my opinion that I don’t think it’s saying much either way.

I think they both had ultimately disappointing careers due in large part to chronic injury issues.
