Been looking for this thread. Want to try a new hobby of beat making So i hope to get some good inspirations in this thread. I'm reading up on tutorials and playing around with the programs. RIght now I'm using Ableton Live 9 and Logic Pro 9.

Any word of advice for a beginner? This is strictly for fun, not trying to make it in the industry

Do a lot of experimentation and learn to mix. Nothing like a nice instrumental and it's clipping everywhere.
