lol naw it's all good....so i just read an article on kicks on fire and they are saying that the meridians still look to have it's initial RD!
Damn.
Another PR hit for the LeBron lin.
First he didn't wear the XIs because they didn't mesh with his grotesquely deformed toes.
Now the XIIs having to be recalled before they officially release and being delayed for who knows how long.
At this rate, I expect the XIIIs to spontaneously combust when you first wear them.
If I were LeBron, I'd be highly pissed off at Nike. Seriously, they are not doing him justice at this point. Pure laziness. For your top signature athlete, this is inexcusable.
I think maybe because it's his name they are using. And it's a shoe they are expecting him to wear and play at a high level with.pissed about what? he got paid already. he didn't create the shoe, probably had no input at all. He should have nothing to say.

Maybe, but you are talking apples to oranges in a way. The XI had a successful launch, with a great colorway, as planned in early October, and started off fine on Court. He wore them opening night (all game) and attempted to wear Aways a few times after that, and could be seen sporadically wearing them. They never had a "recall" or an issue with the production of the XI. The problem with the XI was a "LeBron's jacked up feet and orthotic" problem (could argue a design problem for him specifically), not a defect with the shoe itself. Here the XII hasn't even hit launch date, and we have no idea really how long before they hit shelves. If they don't hit shelves until let's say December....a lot of people could pass because basketball season is already in effect. I'm not talking sneakerheads, just the people who play some sort of competitive basketball, which usually starts late October, early November. Last year at that time they had 2 to 3 colorways of LeBron XI's to choose from that had released before the seasons began. Obviously I don't know for a fact, but it could dent sales to some degree. Plus you can't sell a shoe that hasn't released. But on the other hand the XII could be amazing and sell really well, we'll see.Sounds like a lot of overreacting in here. The LeBron line didn't take a hit with the XI, as I believe those were the best-selling LeBron sig to date.
And as someone who is looking forward to this new model, I'm happy as hell that that are addressing this design flaw. Who cares if it's delayed for X amount of time, as long as it eventually releases, flawless instead of flawed.
Y'all planning dates and outfits around these releases dates?
lol naw it's all good....so i just read an article on kicks on fire and they are saying that the meridians still look to have it's initial RD!
i thought all the big bang and FI lovers would love the Meridians and be looking forward to them dropping!?!?I bet they are, theres no need to alter a steaming pile of crap
been swapping since back in middle school....i think the only swap i have posted is the extra green laces from the Xmas 11 into the GKs....i took the GK laces and put them in the XI hornets....other swaps have been mostly done on my J's though!
i always wondered how u came up with ur screenname you check out our dead laces thread http://niketalk.com/t/518811/laces-thread/30#post_21547959
no shade but i don't think i've seen you post a lace swap at all
I think everyone agrees that the volt kinda ruins them.i thought all the big bang and FI lovers would love the Meridians and be looking forward to them dropping!?!?
Not throwing no shade but it just made me laugh that you was talking about spelling and totally misspelled itI read the issue is because of the the shoe having 6 and not 23 and spellgin LRJ and not LBJ, this can't be true rite?
I think the issue is with the eyelets not being glued properly, or maybe they actually will go back and change the 6 to 23. LRJ actually makes sense since his middle name is Raymone, so those are his actual initials. Some of his Lebron III PEs had LRJ stitched in too.I read the issue is because of the the shoe having 6 and not 23 and spellgin LRJ and not LBJ, this can't be true rite?
Has the yellow one released yet anywhere?Sorry for not being shoe related but I know some people in here were looking... NBAstore and the Cavs team shop have the red swingman jersey available right now. Probably should be quick on the trigger if you are wanting one, although I'm sure they made a ton.
Naw bro, I get that they're all orange kicks but I wouldn't even mention those with either of its predecessors
