The trade was supposed to be Butler to NO for Brandin Cooks. Apparently the Patriots have said that it's been frustrating dealing with Butler's agent and management team to negotiate a deal. Butler's side has said that they haven't talked about a contract since last season. All in all, it just sounds like both sides aren't on the same page.
With that being said, reports were that the Patriots still wanted to work out a long term deal with Butler, but are willing to part ways with him if necessary.

Yup. They talk about this on the Do Your Job special that released after that Super Bowl. You can check it out here at the 32:20 mark. Hightower bench presses Okung off of him and shoulder tackles Lynch to stop him at the 1 yard line.

glad to see we're addressing some big needs. DL is a huge need. would like some more LB help and DB depth as well. i like the first two picks but that last one was a reach for sure IMO

Anyone have a list of the UDFAs we signed? I'm hearing good things about Harvey Langi and DJ Killings, but LB and DB seem like areas where depth still need to be addressed.
