Fam you don’t run off a finals run on a fluke. That soft label was shed in like 2005. He averaged 9 fourth quarter points per game in the finals in 2011.
At one point he was only behind Hakeem for playoff statistics.

Back in the day I was a KG over Duncan guy. But as I learn the game and the NBA game more and more, I value defense more than offense. And rim protection over perimeter defense. Duncan was definitely better than KG. Not as flashy, but he anchored SA’s defense for 20 years. They never missed the playoffs. And offensively he produces close to the same level. Plus the 5 rings. Dirk and KG is closer. Dirk’s shooting separates him I feel but it’s close.
