The Official NBA Season Thread: Saturday Night SFA

Tatum has never been as good as Embiid at his best. What are we talking about here. Look I don't like nothing about Embiid from a fan perspective but just a year ago today he was runaway early favorite for winning his 2nd back to back MVP before the injury. That's how dominant he was playing. Two different levels of talent

H2H plus the closeout game. Please reevaluate

Haliburden dude sucks like legit sucks.

No inbetween game the 3 isn’t falling so the step back ain’t hitting the same. After that he only has the floater to lean back on.

I need answers B Sox B Sox and other hali truthers.

Wally was never wrong just early

Haliburden is crazy. He will be fine. I wonder when the team just decides to shut it down though.

Whats the difference between Embiid and Zion?

Outside of y'all liking Zion? Y'all allow injuries from some players and others y'all don't. Nasty work.
Sounding more drunk by the post. What are you even babbling about? Neither one of them is cut any slack. It sounds like you're assigning some outlier take to "y'all" as if that makes a bit of sense.

I mean I have absolutely no idea how to explain how somebody goes from a highly efficient pace setter to falling off a cliff. Pacers have gone from #2 offense in the league to #16 and his TS% has gone from above 60 the last 2 years to 50.

How can anyone explain that? Maybe some weird Ben Simmons-esque mental stuff

Still in his “pre-prime” years but yeah, it’s weird as hell.

I'm all for the tournament format but playing to a point total seems like some kind of attempt to "street ball-ify" this whole event. I'm not for that. Play shorter quarters or play halves even, but I don't like the pick up play to some arbitrary total. That's not anywhere near as entertaining.

he was going off before they decided to nerf the scoring. So his numbers were a little juiced up. Or he got paid didn’t gaf

Embiid is having the worst season of his career.

Tatum is having the best season of his career.
