People complain to much. These exhibition games are for fun and for dudes to just let it hang….

But someeeeee people say these guys are the most skilled players ever and even if they’re terrible at shooting 3s, shoot it anyway because of “analytics”.

Deal with it. This what people are championing

Guys like Ben Simmons making every excuse NOT to play and y’all want dudes to go 100% in an exhibition game? No sir

The only time we ever see decent NBA All-Star games is when it's a close game in a fourth quarter. Even that classic 2003 All-Star game was only good because it was close in the final minutes of the game. The 2020 All-Star game was awesome for the same reason.

Not sure how the NBA could do it but they need to manufacture a way for the games to be closer so players will play harder.

Dudes aren’t going to play hard, unless there’s an injury/insurance guarantee….

Put it in their contract or CBA and they might play harder

Fans want high scoring and offense

***East scores 200***

***shoot more 3s”

“The all star game needs to be competitive, players don’t care”

Make up your minds folks :lol :lol :lol :lol

What exactly would injury insurance accomplish? These players already have guaranteed contracts so they are getting paid regardless of whether or not they get hurt. They are more worried about missing time that may affect their ability to make all-NBA or impact their teams title chances.

A young player on his first big deal… who may possibly get injured and misses out on another max contract or second contract.

Look how these dudes are complaining about the new 65% rule, in order to be eligible for end of the year awards. They’d definitely take issue with getting injured during all-star festivities.

Most all-stars are about 23-27 years old. They definitely could get hurt and jeopardize future deals.

I mean id say everyone that played last night is on a guaranteed contract. They’re covered

Now, would the teams get mad if something happened in an exhibition? Sure

"two voice thing" you mean code switching? I forget the demographics of this forum sometimes :smh:

He's not code switching (and I say this as a Liberian American who knows a thing or two about code switching). His voice just has a weird inflection that he can't control.

Code switching would be adopting a different accent a way of speaking around different groups of people of people, like this corny thing Russell Wilson is doing here

All Star games just seem like a dying event overall, no matter what league/sport…If they really wanna keep ASW as a big thing they need to focus on Saturday night and making the whole weekend a time ppl really look forward to going for fun outside the game

Nobody is that excited about watching these dudes on Sunday night anymore

From an optics standpoint, NBA really can't waste the first weekend after the NFL season is over and showcase that. Might have to move it back a few weeks to the Super Bowl bye week. Teams are dying to go on break by then anyways. Use President's Day weekend to put some marquee NBA games.

And they need to tip the ASG a lot earlier and on time. People don't want to watch a regular season game that doesn't tip until 8:40 on a Sunday night, much less an exhibition game.
