The Official NBA Season Thread: NBA Cup Night

Last few minutes illustrate how harmful automatic switching was. Schroder was able to get Reaves on him for blow-bys and that middy at the end. Could've just hard-doubled Schroder and made Bonga make a play.
*Looking at you Steve Kerr

this should be a humbling experience, but probably not

steve kerr needs to be interrogated

While our bigs usually aren’t our strong suit, we’d at least have Tatum and KD on the wing who are both strong rebounders (and defenders). Definitely missing that on this World Cup team.

What changes do you even make for the olympics? Would having Ja, Tatum, Zion, Fox, Jimmy, Bam and Booker change anything? The problem isnt star power its the approach to these games. Half assing it, thinking its gonna be easy. I bet they barely practiced

Most disappointing members of the team were easily Brandon Ingram & Cam Johnson but I am now starting my personal vendetta against JJJ.

DPOY WHO CANT PLAY MORE THAN 30 MINUTES BECAUSE HE CANT STOP FOULING?!

DPOY WHO HAS NEVER AVERAGED MORE THAN 7 BOARDS IN A SEASON.

he better send that DPOY award to ad the rightful owner.

Also I don’t want to see any projected 2024 usa roster without AD.

Don't let anyone besides Antman and AR back though customs... embarrassing.

Think the players were too lackadasical on defense until the fourth. Kerr didn't do them any favors with the auto-switching and not being big enough up front.

Think the Haliburton-Reaves-Edwards-Bridges-JJJ lineup was the one that made a run vs Germany in the friendly a few weeks ago. Went to it too late in this game.
