The Official NBA Season Thread: NBA Cup Night

if we want to be serious about this conversation, the dubs banked on a JP progression that hindered the depth of the team. they really needed Kaminga and Moody to elevate more for a serious run at it.
Man Jordan Poole became exactly who he was supposed to be which is why they signed him after last Years Chip.
Draymond Green took it upon himself to destroy any future that Man had in GSW when he gorilla punched him in the face for the whole world to see.
Some Men just can’t take that kind of abuse on that level and go on about their business in a normal fashion. Dray did that. Poole just a victim of, something- bullying maybe…..

Ya folk, the energy feels off this year. Feeling like the Temptations yahmean'. Jordan Poole & Draymond be on some David Ruffin ish. I knew when Dray was talking about missing a game to possibly catch LeBron shatter Kareem's scoring title..

3-1 with 1 home game left is always tricky but I don’t know how you trust the Warriors to not beat themselves at this point.

Slow start, then Warriors get going for 60 points in the middle two quarters. Had a 7 point lead entering the final frame. Game plan was simple, Steph on ball, call up AD to get him out of the paint, Steph gets downhill, make the other Lakers figure out the rotations on the back end. Worked well in G2, worked again tonight.

Then the Warriors go out & score 17 points in the fourth.

Just 5 AD screens the entire quarter, really just 4 because 1 was a misdirection for a Klay curl.

And half of that 4 came in the final 60 seconds  Zero before half the quarter had already passed.

Wiggins in particular was broke from outside, get him going downhill in the short roll, or let Steph split AD & get in there like he’d been doing all night

They’ve just lack discipline the entire series. Whether it’s the offensive approach or the fouls.

Maybe they stick to the script 3 games in a row.

Absolutely no reason to think they will.

Warriors will either come extremely locked in or try to over compensate and come out flat. Either way, it aint over yet.
