The pairs the players wear have always been better than the ones we get. More cushioning, better traction, etc. And the 11s that come out now are definitely upgraded over the low cut patent ones that dropped 10 years ago.
You're right about wanting them to wear their lame sigs. Seems like damn near all of them have their own sigs now. Just as a fan lol I miss the players that rocked dope ****.

The famous story is that Reggie scored 40 in a high school game (I think he was a sophomore). Cheryl was a senior the same year, and scored 105 points the same night in a 179-15 win over some crap team. This was in 1982. There are actual recaps of the games online to prove the story. However, the girl's record is 156 points in a 1924 game where the team won, like, 165-3.
