Honestly, people shouldn't even be mad at Melo for wanting to leave the Nuggets. He wanted to compete and the Nuggets were shedding salary. Then they hired Masai who was a first time GM.

Just listened to a podcast about the sixers’ owners trying to build a new stadium next to Philly’s Chinatown. Sounds like there are residents opposed to it. Folks are using the collapse of DC’s chinatown after the nba/nhl teams moved in as a cautionary tale

imagine being gentrified and having your family displaced just so that jordan poole has a place to go 0/5 and 1/12 in less than one calendar week :smh:

When's the last time an appeal was successful?

I swear Atlanta was involved and they had to replay 1 minute of a game or something

Why would the league overturn this? They literally blow calls at the end of games every night...
I mean the officials coming out like 30 min after the game ended saying they botched the call on the last play of the game with no time remaining, which was the only reason the Rockets won, seems kind of like a big deal. About as bad of a look as you can get.

Worse than the 2 min reports that come out the next day.

Appeals shouldn't even be allowed if this one doesn't get overturned. It's completely cut and dry.

it'll most likely end up as symbolic gesture at best, but this isn't preferential treatment or whatever you're trying to imply

Wish any of the answers went more on depth but hearing that at least the Thunder did try to tell/show Westbrook his shot selection is poor and Mo Cheeks was like **** that keep shooting them is hilarious

And the Thunder didnt even have Giannis on their board the year we took Steven Adams

And they were hiring off Craigslist

Sheesh! And given its like 12% raises and not flat averages that final year is probably 100

I saw Chet given the 3rd best DPOTY odds earlier and was wondering

Same thing when they have him as the ROTY fav, he's been great but that extra year within the NBA ecosystem + being on a legit team definitely helps a lot.

Wemby hasn't had either of those and playing pro in the French league isn't the same as getting unlimited access to NBA caliber facilities and personnel to train with.

Knicks won't win this because reasons but there was 0.0 on the clock. Nothing left in regulation to change the outcome. Referee said it shouldn't have been called. L2M report said it was an incorrect call.

Knicks are in San Antonio on March 29th. Rockets are home March 31st. Let's play five minutes on the 30th.

Edit: The game spread also moved 5.5 points right before tip. Sengun going from questionable to active or Hartenstein confirmed inactive is not worth 5.5 points. 🐟🐠🎣
