The Official NBA Season Thread: NBA Cup Begins | Embiid Debut | Klay Return

Don't like the deal.. I feel like RJ and quick was our package to make a big move and I don't think OG is a big enough move. I'm sure they weren't wanting to pay his upcoming extension which will be massive but this wasn't the player I thought we'd be getting back for. RJ and quick plus pics

The Raptors not even getting a first.

What a fail. Should've traded OG last season.

I suppose RJ and Quickley is a good duo to add next to Scottie.
I was gonna say weren’t certain teams throwing first rounders for OG last year

Feels like a gigantic overpay

Especially after just watching OG last night.
He’s insanely overrated. I’ll be curious to see how RJ does on a new team. Quickley is a good pickup too. Dumb trade for the Knicks

OG is worth a starter and a 6th MOY candidate?

for a front office that supposedly has experience making deals, león rose and co have consistently taken hits on their attempts to trade with other teams with the knicks having to compensate more on their end.

I thought OG would've been the perfect target for the Sixers if they pivoted towards a trade.

Losing RJ and Quickley hurts the depth, but at least OG can play some PF when Randle rests and give Hart a break for getting beat up.

Also these two teams trading with each other is hilarious given the Knicks are suing the Raptors. :lol

i can deal with those other two going to the knicks. that's a little better

still think having to get rid of quickley was the wrong move in this situation

The Knicks still got some bullets in the chambers to play with. Fournier's essentially got an expiring contract, they own all their first rounders, likely will get the Mavs pick this year and the future Pistons/Wizards picks (but they might not ever convey).
