The Official NBA Season Thread: NBA Cup Begins | Embiid Debut | Klay Return

Released from the hospital on the same day but out a "significant period of time" doesn't make sense to me.

Nonetheless, glad to hear he'll be okay long-term.
Broken arm/leg? That's just a cast and on your way.

Teams used to take pride in trying to obtain the top seed. Now it’s about just barely making the playoffs and figuring it out from there.

I wonder how long the Warriors are going to stick with Dray/Klay as the core players, they not that anymore and just wasting the last prime Steph years trying to run back an old formula

"Something leadership"

"Something they'll be fine"

"Some kinda revenge brewing"

"Something about Keminga all star year wavycrocket wavycrocket "

Bill Simmons has brought that up a few times over the last couple of years. He said they need to incentivize winning divisions.

You can tell Draymond’s trying to set the tone

Yea, Draymond has some timely screens

This kinda tricky cuz some divisions worse then others…Might reward a division winner over a 2nd place team that has more wins like in the NFL when .500 teams host playoff games cuz they won their division

That scenario gon go just as well as the all star draft, will only last a couple seasons

What they could do is top 3 plays all home games in the 1st round like the play in games but then it will be even more rarer for any upsets in that round

You Warriors fans are very spoiled on officiating. I don’t think you realize just how much Draymond gets away with that LITERALLY NOBODY ELSE IN THE LEAGUE DOES.

Thanks and have a good night.

at this point of his career, i think dray gets officiated in ways that commensurate with his actions. he's been suspended in playoff series and thrown out of games that have effectively cost warriors' games, and possibly the '16 finals. refs aren't as tolerant of him complaining about calls and his overly physical play.

however, the retroactive tech he received after the replay, even if it's in the rule book, felt like BS. how that wasn't a tech on donovan mitchell as well for reacting to dray was dumb. he made no attempt on the ball and just shoulder checked dray, but it's a common foul?
