Capable 3 and D guys is all that team needed once they made the AD trade. Bron + AD + That is going to make you a contender as long as those guys are healthy.

They were below average from back there in that title run. Inside the arc, AD was hitting everything & Bron was Bron.
Most importantly tho…. They played defense
The very next year when healthy they dominated the team that won the conference.
Then the GM decided to swap two critical role players for a guy who does ZERO of the little things.
Then you let a 3rd critical role player leave because of the luxury tax. Cutting corners in the final few years of Bron?
It’s really inconceivable how you actually had the blueprint and somehow still turned a Bron/AD team into an underdog.
