The Official NBA Season Thread: NBA Cup Begins | Embiid Debut | Klay Return

Yea the Bird and Magic trophies both being awarded to other teams on the Lakers and Celtics home courts during their inaugural years is kinda crazy

Wild how a coach is responsible to tell players they gotta play defense. Like fam, you ain't feel you were getting cooked?

Considering how the Warriors benefited so much from the jump in the cap with KD rather than the league going with a gradual cap increase... I think it's quite fair.
That was the NBAPA’s miscalculation

Also This would be Brown's potential Deal, With this upcoming CBA.... Ya'll want to sign him to this deal & figure it out later

There’s going to be other players in the league making similar money. Don’t really see them having much difficulty moving him a couple years from now if needed.

Tatum and Brown both soft. Can’t have two soft dudes leading the charge. When things aren’t going their way, they start pouting. Horrible body language when things aren’t clicking
This bro. This. Been saying this. Your best players gotta be able to nut up.

Steph still got some solid yrs left. Just need to tweak the pieces around him. Dray and klay going to have to take a paycut. Lacob might have to do a handshake deal and offer them a role post retirement. Still in good shape going forward.

Once we're two or three years into the CBA, all the top 20-30 guys are going to make an insane amount of money.

If a top player does it right and plays long enough, they might be able to walk away with a billion or really close to it from just playing.
