The Official NBA Season Thread: NBA Cup Begins | Embiid Debut | Klay Return

Honestly, I like the FIBA format so much more than the NBA: 40 minute games, five fouls, five timeouts (only on dead balls), no goal tending once the ball hits the rim, some hand checking allowed, no foul baiting, no gather step. The shorter three point line is the great equalizer, as well as no defensive 3-seconds. FIBA does a lot of things right. The only rule I wish the NBA would adopt is the goal tending rule.

Keep the NBA 3. (Professionals should be a step above, like 2 feet vs 1 feet down in college football vs NFL).

12 minute quarters and 6 fouls should still be standard. Everything else I agree

That's actually the only rule I don't want the league to adopt. I love all the other rules.

Hitting a shot off the rim seems wrong...I won't ever be able to accept it.
I agree.

Imagine if someone went up and knocked off Kawhi’s shot from gave 7 vs the sixers…

He’s being mentioned alongside the goats?? Goats of what??

I thought people just thought he remebles Mike lol

🤣🤣🤣

This can't be real. Embiid is allergic to expectations. Even when playing on Team USA with the greatest players in the world he is still trying to downplay expectations.

Talking like he’s an international mole and trying to make us lose….
