The warriors gave him 2.5 season to show if he still had it, he didn’t. Can’t blame them for letting go of the rope when they did.
Is it his fault the Warriors still desperately needed dude to be Prime Klay when that clearly wasn't reality anymore?
He made all the sense in the world for Dallas as a spacer for Luka and CTC. Doesn’t have to run all over the place like he did in GS either. 4th/5th option.
Teams still stick to the dude like flies on **** when he's on the floor - it's opened up a ton for Dallas offensively even when he wasn't shooting at an ultra-high clip to start the year.

And cutting how much he's having to run around like a maniac has brought the legs back some defensively... He's guarding when he's on the court and his ability to offer some level of secondary playmaking has been a lift, too.

Folks just run to scream dudes careers are over when reality is the role just needs to change some. Klay probably deserves some level of blame for how it ended in GS, but the Warriors failed dude bigly, too.

Watching the Pacers-Kings game. Why is Sabonis shooting so many threes? The naysayers might be right. |l
