The Official NBA Season Thread: I’m like Jayson Tatum in the Olympics I'm not playing

Its always been like that in wnba. Not uncommon for top 5 picks to average 2 points and get cut after one season. Charli Collier was #1 in 2021 and hasnt been on a roster in 2 years. Anyone remember Kysre? Taken #4 averaged 1.9 and hasnt played in 3 years. Not enough teams and talent doesnt seem to translate well to pros

I also think the WNbA players should play in suits. You’re professionals, dress like it.

There was a stretch where a lot of the older vets in the wnba were not ready to retire. As a result, many younger talent didn't have roster spots. It's the question of do you prioritize having vets or young talent to fill out your roster.

Not that we need inside the NBA, but colkd TNT just keep the show and call it “Inside” or something? Or does that require an NBA deal too?

Inside the NBA jumped the shark a decade ago but “people forget” it was the best sports show on TV at one point. Classic moments.

If Chris Haynes gets a lead sideline gig at another network, he must be one hell of a nice guy

I think Vince and Candace worked last Olympics for NBC. Maybe, they get a consideration to join the team if NBC lands the deal
