The Official NBA Season Thread: I’m like Jayson Tatum in the Olympics I'm not playing

The concoteds are the ones that end up billionaires. So I guess you are indirectly enjoying seeing a young brother not fulfill his financial potential. Thanks for telling on yourself.

Ben Simmons spent too much time not playing. Without those reps his peers has passed him up. He's gotten bigger but seems to have loss some of his speed/mobility. Still cant shoot. Just a regular guy out there. I would say you cant teach 6'10 height, but he doesnt shoot the ball so it dont even matter. Bum

And because he’s clearly a guy who doesn’t love playing ball, he’s just going f to get worse playing on lottery teams.

Only way I can see him having a chance of resurrecting his career if he somehow makes his way to a contending team and gets like 6th-man role. But don’t see how it happens with his contract.

I think even a 6th man role is too much responsibility for him. Especially since that role is typically reserved for players that can score a ton in short spurts. If anything, he will need to be in a specialized role (whatever that means). Something similar to Bruce Brown during his Denver run.

This is contract year Ben Simmons so he's going to at least try to pretend that he cares.

Would love to see him in GS in the role that Slow-Mo will be playing.

Ben Simmons is a 58% FT and .139% from 3…

Kyle is 71% and 33% respectively. He’s competent and somewhat unafraid to shoot

The “modern” super “skilled” current NBA game has no space for a guy like Ben Simmons

This clearly should be his last year.

Ben will always have value as a roll man and when healthy he’s a combo forward defensively. He can help a team but he has to come off the ball and be willing to stay within that role. That “point guard” **** is over

Dude is unplayable when the game is on the line/crunch time. Even his defense has become “overrated”

With the clip that released today and this message, he's already setting the tone on sitting a multitude of games this year coming off the Olympics. Like when Kahwii made his statement about a title being more important than 82 games, I fully respect, it for teams that visit your city once a year. Purchase tickets at your own peril.

A suped up Daymond was always my comparison for Ben in his Philly days. But not having a jumpshot and being a liability from the freethrow line is a death sentence in today's game.

I don’t see Sochan on the list….

Man Jalen and Wemby would’ve been disgustingggg
