I don’t know that I agree with that. Bron has been an all star for 20 years. It’s on the next generation of guys to show that it’s important to them. I’ve heard from people closer to the game that he’s one of the best ambassadors for the League that entire weekend. The younger guys are far more too cool and not caring. Relying on guys in the twilight of their careers to set the tone isn’t really fair IMO. They’ve paid their dues.

Don’t think it’s a good look for him to talk down on the product, though.

I wasnt saying Bron still gotta set the tone, more like the vibe and effort of the game shifted once him and his peers were at the top giving half effort…Everybody since just followed that lead

The Brand stuff worked out in the end, Bron knew what he was doing was bigger than on the court

Seeing the switch in all star game energy in real time was crazy tho, Im sure you peeped it as it was happening…One day they out there hoopin like it’s a regular game for the most part and the next they basically telling you to just tune in the last couple mins of the 4th (if it’s even close)
