My bro was like theres a Pokemon World Championship going on in Hawaii right now. Regional champs from all over competing for the world title, I mean it makes sense.

If you took all the olympic basketball teams and shuffled the rosters, what's the difference? That's basically what the NBA is except it's a higher level of competition. There are 40+ countries represented and over 25% of the league is foreign born. It just so happens the best players are US born hence why they win gold all the time

There's only 12 countries represented in Olympic basketball and maybe 4 of them are actually good. If anything the NBA is more of a world championship than the Olympics is
