Oh we can definitely lose in 28 at the crib. Not Steph KD or Bron. All 3 played integral parts in the games we just barely won. Plus no jrue. Likely not embiid. Possibly no AD.

Flagg seems like he would be more of a 2032 guy unless he really hits the ground running his rookie year.

Team USA will be fine in 2028. I heard similar things after 08 and beating Spain and here we are. They just have to get an identity and stick to it and build around it. Grant Hill isn’t the guy for the job because he went back to the same nonsense that stopped working. That World Cup team had enough to win but they just lacked size. The key will be the next World Cup team. If you have lower tier guys play well that will help fill out the roster for 28. Being on home soil will get guys participating.
