I just can't understand why people are high on Thompson, he had a Roy Hibbert Pacers playoff run last year, this year he is Roy Hibbert from the Lakers, he is decent, but he has nowhere near the heart that Adams has, TT isn't hungry because he is paid, so what is his incentive to try and play with heart? He already got paid.

you aren't very good at sports conversations are you? You're reading that law of attraction manual huh? Think it you speak it into existence, the universe will handle the rest. That's adorable.

whats adorable is a laker fan like you commenting on anything that has to do with basketball right now considering your team hasn't even been in the playoffs since 2013. miss me with all that.

Why is someone a LOSER if they lose to a team that is heavily favored to win?

But of all team sports, basketball is the sport that can be dominated the most by one player.  Tired of the "its a team sport" argument.
You are tired of what it actually is?
No I am tired of hearing it used as a copout for superstars not having success.  Yes it is a team sport, but like I said, it is the one team sport that can be completely dominated by 1 player.

Yo, but he's right though.

You haven't offered any sort of substantiated conversation or points to this thread. You're just basing your prediction off feel? C'mon man!

This is basketball afterall. There is such a thing as analysis :lol

It is a team sport man.

At This point, no one person is beating another team.

Cleveland isn't playing the damn 76ers

after watching last series...there's no doubt in my mind..dubs would've smashed the spurs. OKC, for all of their shortcomings, was amazing at getting the warriors battle-tested and ready. They pushed them harder than I believe the cavs have the ability to do.

Joint lowkey finna be a cake walk. This series will actually look like the eastern conference with the roles reversed.

Don't know about it being a cake walk. All depends on how Warriors handle those 2-3 sets I mentioned above.

Yes, the Thunder basically gave out the blueprint illustrating how to defeat the Warriors. The only problem is that they're the only team in the league with the personnel to execute it effectively.

It's one thing to know whats in the secret sauce, but if you aint got the ingredients, you ain't making it :lol

So I assume that you arent giving LeBron any credit for making the NBA Finals 6 straight years?  After all, they were "heavily favored to win" every one of the matchups along the way.  And also, its a team sport right?

I am speaking of this year in particular.

Are we going to look down on leBron if his team loses to the better team?

Which we all know GSW is?

everyone is talking about what LeBron did last year. He was minus in almost every game. Never shot above 50% in that series. Come on man.

LeBron's TEAMS have been good enough to make it to the finals for 6 straight years.

Yes, he IS the constant, but his teams have been good enough to make it.

Why do you need an excuse for losing to one of the greatest teams of all time?

LBJ haters expect so much out of him. It's pretty backwards if you think about it.

I mean if folks are going to FAULT "him" for losing, this conversation has to be brought up right?

I cant believe I am defending LeBron, but you are just being ridiculous now.  LeBron is a top 10 player in the history of the game (some say top 3 or 5), and you are making it seem like he is JAG along for the ride.

Superstars are held to a higher standard than role players.  Superstars can dominate a game/series and win it for his team.  Someone who is as transcendent a talent as LeBron is will always be given credit for wins and blamed for losses.

LeBrons TEAMS have been good enough to make the finals for 6 straight years.  Jesus, can we diminish the man's talents any more?

LeBron is great. One of the best ever. Yes, he is the best on those teams by a significant margin.

But if other people don't also come to play, his teams wouldn't make the finals.

How is that a ridiculous point?

It is a team sport

by the very definition of the word, someone who loses to anyone is a loser
I disagree. LeBron is a championship basketball player no matter the number of rings he has in his career.

Same with KD.
what is a "championship basketball player"?

a player that competes for a championship? if so than every NBA player is a championship basketball player

lollll noo...we expect wayyyyy less out of him than his stans. That's the difference. We aren't haters, we're realistic. His stans think he's Dr. Manhattan or some ****.
