Is it better than smash????
It's too early to really say but IMO no it isn't. Not that this is a bad game, it's completely the opposite. This game is amazing. I love this for fighting game fans, mortal kombat fans and for netherealm studios. They've really made a quality polished product but smash is really ahead of its time

Did the tutorial last night, and I already forgot how to combobreak
I'm liking the game so far though. Did the daily challenge which required me to win as scorpion twice. ANd i played as Cage for the first 2 story fights.
Gonna take me a bit to get used to it, but i'm really liking what I'm playing so far. Also thinking about bumping the difficulty a little after reading dude on here beat it on normal who normally doesn't play fighting games. No offense.

I'll try him out. I love characters that are just odd and supposed to suck. Then you dominate using defensive fundamentals. Troll wins commence

I guess we have a misunderstanding... his moves seem over powered. He just lunges at you swinging his fists and he has a another move where he just spins in circles at you cutting you with 4 gauntlets. Almost like some Eddie Gordo/Cinder level of skill character.I tried Erron Black out, he seems tough to master but Im definitely gonna start working on it.

If you've played fighting games before you can probably handle a higher difficulty.
I'm improving a little now, just beat a Tower on medium without any retries.

Played on medium and didnt lose until Goro, cleaned my clock 5 times and gave up. Beat the test your might tower though.

I've been practicing with Liu Kang for the past hour and he's awesome. Dualist variation with him what I'm trying to lock down.

I haven't played anything but practice mode and online ranked 45-10. Kang gives me the most problems so far. His speed using Ermac is hard to handle.
