Definitely wouldn't consider it a fighting game. More like a party game. IDK what makes you think DOA is less of a fighter than SSB. DOA is legit fighting game. Like..... Legitimately a fighting game. Like SF, MK, SC, VF, KI, etc.

I was assuming SSB is not a fighter to you because it's accessible. DoA is the easiest fighting game ever. Smash buttons and youll do a 40 hit combo.

The DBZ Budokai games had less combos than SSB and that is considered a fighter. How is SSB not a fighter. Next thing you're gonna tell me is that Mario Kart isnt a racer because it doesnt have Gran Turismo physics?

It's not a fighter it doesn't have violence. It also doesn't have combos. SSB is pretty much Mario Party....

It's possible to combo in ssb . I guess it's not a traditional fighter since its not broken into rounds like most games .

And you can pick up weapons and ****. Ride on stuff. And it doesn't have health bars, but the opposite of that. Like percentages and ****.....

Earlier today on twitter the Mortal Kombat community received some news from Ed Boon that may or may not be bad to some; I think it was more able knowing and clarity. However, unlike Mortal Kombat 9 and Injustice: Gods Among Us it appears that Mortal Kombat X will not receive a demo prior to release. Check just below for the confirmation tweet.

Basically if it is slightly different than anything else in the genre it aint part of that genre

Bioshock aint a shooter cuz you can use plasmids. Ratchet and Clank aint a platformer cuz you can pick up weapons. etc.

Goro just knocked Kotals daddy head off like a ******* bossed up goon. I think Kotal is pissed as **** now. Reiko and Mileena ******* too. He probably not the only that hit though. I know Goro tapped. And he probably packing a 14 inch monster downstairs. So Mileena cooter probably looking like fish guts now. But anyway long story short, it's looking like it might be Mileena, Goro, Reiko, Rain, and Mavado vs Kotal, Reptile, Erron Black, Dvorrah, and FerraTorr

The smash bros slander is insane in here. Ssb is a really tongue in cheek fighting (yes fighting) game. On the surface it looks like Mario party but the amount of skill it takes to be good at the game is up there.

And we can't be in a mortal kombat thread and really talk in depth fighters. Though mortal kombat is put on a pedestal in fighting game communities it's never been in depth as Street Fighter or KoF...
