[h1]New MKX Gameplay[/h1]

Those load times are not the move though

I wonder if NRS plans to add Sareena, Kai and Jataaka in MKX this time around since Quan Chi is so powerful now.

Yesterday, PopCultureShockCollectibles released via their Facebook page some teaser images of upcoming Classic Mortal Kombat statues. These images consist of statues for Mortal Kombat 1 Scorpion and Mortal Kombat 3 Liu Kang.

For collectors, these statues along with statues they've made and sold in the past have been a long time dream come true. Granted, the price tags are not cheap, but the saying "you get what you pay for" is exactly the case in this scenario.

First look at MK1 Scorpion and MK3 Liu Kang statues from Pop Culture Shock Collectibles via their Facebook page.

According to at least Liu Kang's image, you'll be able to pre-order these statue(s) in a few weeks. Stay tuned!

So what's people gripe about them not using Unreal Engine 4 this time around?? What does it matter?? What's wrong with 3? I just don't get it [emoji]128542[/emoji][emoji]128542[/emoji][emoji]128542[/emoji][emoji]128542[/emoji][emoji]128542[/emoji]

NRS doesn't have to use the Unreal Engine 4 since they can do so much already with the Unreal Engine 3. NRS pretty much perfected the Unreal Engine 3 and Ed Boon himself said that their using a highly self customized version of Unreal Engine 3 60 fps 1080p

[h1]MKX will have 'almost' as many new characters as MK: Deception in this BGS interview[/h1]
In this new interview Ed Boon was asked about the new blood in MKX and he said that MKX will introduce a lot of new blood but *maybe* not as much as Deception.

MK Deception had only 8 new characters to MK, 10 if we include Zombie Kang and Noob/Smoke as a team.

Well damn [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji] I was actually looking forward to like 10 new characters. But less is cool. Increases chances of Reptile, Cyber Smoke, and Noob showing up.

[h1]40+ minutes of off screen Mortal Kombat X gameplay from BGS 2014[/h1]
If you've been thirsty for some Mortal Kombat X from the Brazilian Game Show you're in luck! Granted this footage is quite shaky at times and some of it is hard to see, but there is a good 40+ minutes of off screen Mortal Kombat X gameplay featuring many characters including the newly revealed Quan Chi!

In this video, among basic character attacks and short combos you also see Quan Chi's win pose and much more.

UPDATE: New footage of Cassie Cage vs Ferra Torr

And Scorpions face revealed !

[h1]Ed Boon's hint about the returning -ALITY, " never present in the arcade period of the series."[/h1]
So, this article (in Portuguese) popped up on Kotaku and various online MK sites. Someone translated the pertinent text, and we have a good hint about the returning -ALITY… or is it going to be a brand new -ALITY? This latest interview with Ed Boon will surely have you speculating...

First, the link to the (untranslated) article:
http://www.kotaku.com.br/criancas-nunca-deveriam-jogar-mortal-kombat-afirmar-ed-boon-durante-bgs/

Now, the translated important bit…

Interviewer: The favorite part of the players are the moments after the "Finish Him / Her". Two months ago you said MKX will bring back one of those classic finishes that fans love so much. Could you tell us which one would it be?

Boon: As a matter of contract, I can not speak ...

Interviewer: Could you give us a hint then?

Boon: Yes I can give you a hint ... That kind of finisher that will be in Mortal Kombat X was never present in the arcade period of the series.

Oh great, brutalities

I really think it would be dope this time around

versus the old age when they did a million uppercuts and elbows

just for their opponent to explode having multiple skulls arm and legs across the screen

just for the case a covering the screen if it well constructed then cool and it has to be unique for each character

hell its better then that other **** they had were the player performed suicide

[h1]Mortal Kombat X Digital Comics announced by DC Comics - will serve as prequel to game[/h1]
Today at the New York Comic-Con a Mortal Kombat X announcement was made involving comics! That's right! Just the the Injustice: Gods Among Us comic, which was first released digitally in January of 2013 we can expect the same for Mortal Kombat X. By the looks of the characters shown, could the Red Dragon be a new character?

Here are some addition notes from CBR:
Finally, "Mortal Kombat X" will be Shawn Kittelsen and drawn by Dexter Soy under covers by Ivan Reis. The series serves as a prequel to the incoming game of the same name by NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The story takes place 25 years after the events of 2011 "Mortal Kombat" relaunch game.
