Wow, the people at Gametrailer forums are freaking out over the score MGS4 got. An 8.7 for story... Seems a little low, but it is just a review...

I finally made my purchase of the PS3 last night partly for this game, and also b/c of the blu-ray player. Wal-mart did the $100 giftcard, so i used that topurchase the game and an hdmi cable.
Game is great so far. It's been awhile since I've played PS. I shall be returning my hdmi cable when i get mine new one from monoprice for half theprice. Thank goodness wal-mart takes back anything, hahaha.

Heres my story, got to best buy at midnight on geary in san francisco, about 75 deep. I get to the line, employees ask if there are any pre orders, IM THE ONLYONE that has one, so I cut everyone! Got my game and picked up the limited edition strategy guide also. ALL the consoles were already sold out. The consolesseem to be doing really good with the game...kinda crazy how people are spending 499.99 just for metal gear. Ive been up since 12am and playing metal gear,time for me to sleep....insane game though, all i gotta say.

WHich hdmi cable did you buy from monoprice. That's a bunch of them and i don't know which one to buy. Sorry I'm no expert when it comes toelectronics. Thanks!

Unfortunately, I haven't purchased my HD TV yet, I have to wait two weeks for it. But, I couldn't pass up on this. Went to Walmart when they opened andpurchased it without any hassle. I also received a $100 gift card. I can't describe how hyped I am right now
. The last game console I purchased was the Xbox when it dropped. Ever since,I've lived off that. Finally time to put that to rest. I'm just debating whether I should wait till I get my HD TV to play it or play it now.
