Okay, didn't know if this was said but here is my prediction regarding kb passing mj. We will finally get our Jordan inspired kbs that we were promised.
Imo, the crimsons weren't pushed enough as the Jordan inspired. And this is a direct connection between kb and mj.

Yep, it all makes sense now. Nike was waiting for Kobe to pass MJ's in points. They are very smart. I tell ya, that company doesn't miss anything. I never felt the Crimson's were the MJ inspired pair. Kobe himself said it was based off of the AJ 3 and the Crimson's do not have an AJ 3 inspiration. I'm sorry. This shoe coming up has to be the one Kobe was talking about.
