It's all marketing on KD side. When he first developed a shoe, he always wanted to design a shoe that everyone can have at a cheaper price. Nike honestly can price anything they want on the shoes and they know they will sell, but I guess it's the precedence that KD wanted since the beginning. That's why his shoes were more inexpensive, i think less than 110 when they first dropped with the KD 1? Correct me if I'm wrong. And also, Kobe's name and endorsement knocks up the price. But with the Lebrons, I DO NOT GET how they can even start at an AVG of 40-50 higher than the Kobes. Lebrons just don't cut it at all for me.Just out of curiosity: ever wonder why the kobe 9 EM lows more expensive than the KD 7? If you think about it, the KD have more expensive materials like hyperposite and zoom. Just wondering whats your take on it. Maybe just because on the signature athlete?
