The Official Flightposite 2014 Thread Vol. Carbons, H20, Possible Coppers

Since the production was in late summer, I imagine these dropping early 2014. Maybe January? Smh, too many good releases in January already

What releases do you speak of sir?
I'd love for these to drop next month, or February.

Sigh...the changed sole kinda bugs me. But I think we can all agree these are wayyyyy better than the other garbage Flightposite that have been released this year.

Those monstrosities dont deserve to carry the 'posite name.

Grabbing a few pairs of these.  Shame that they changed things, but I rarely see size 12 OGs.  When I do, they're bordering on mortgage payments.

They'll be at least $220+, I'm not happy about the cf print being off, but the midsole change is probably what irks me the most. What's the point in that? It's at least a $40 hike from the last time they retrod, so instead of using the same mold and keeping the $1 a most extra piece of rubber, they spend $100-$1000s to create a new mold. at you Nike.

If we all settle, they won....

If it's just a print Id rather then do just all black FP1s instead if the carbon print. This is just a case of them putting out so much crap that we're thrilled at the thought of some half *** carbon fibers.

Still waiting for them to do a royal/clear sole FP1. Seems like a no brainer

After comparing these new pics with some of the OG's folks have been posting, I have to agree. The retros look so lackluster.

What made the OGs great was the carbon fiber pattern had texture to it. These look smooth and glossy. Smh at what Nike did to these retros

Lets see........ Well get volts with a clear bottom

Dr dooms with a stupid print on them

Anymore, its hard to expect the shoes we came to love.

flightposite 1's have always been my favorite "posites" ever since high school. couldn't afford them back then but i'm glad i was able to get the og colorways.

I went back and forth about this retro, but I decided that since my og pair is BUSTED. I'll let Nike slide on butchering my favorite shoe ever. Three pairs, and four more pairs if they retro again correctly after this one...

I really would have thought the CF pattern would be similar to the material used on the Lebron XI Miami Nights. Perhaps these are early look-see samples?

Either these will be widely available with sub-par materials or they'll be limited with top of the line quality.. That's all you can really expect from Nike at this point.
