I'm pissed I paid $235 (with tax added) for the flightposite coppers and Jimmy Jazz sold them for $100 less. Good thing I haven't worn them yet. If I see them in stores on sale I'm exchanging mine and re-buying.
Good lookin, just copped a 13 for $65 shipped. They also got the carbon fibers in a 10.5size 9.5-13 Knicks Flightposite for $65. Use code clearance.

the code got automatically applied so it showed up as $65 as soon as I added them to cart. I tried to apply it to see if I could get an extra 50% off but that didn't workSuch BS! They had my size, clearance was 50% off but these weren't included. I called, they were useless as always and now they've been added and my size is gone! Glad ^^ got the 13s

At 65 it's practically free for a flightposite even with the downgrade compared to OG flightposites
I'm not complaining, but why didn't the Flightposites ever become popular like the Foamposites? I personally love Flights especially the ones with the black bottoms. I have the Metallic, Eggplant, and all Black's that came out around 2007.

Probably because of Penny.
Doubt it.
Doubt it.
But it's not just because they didn't retro the FP1s right. Don't think FPs ever had the same adoption and hype as foams. At cursory glance, they're both pretty close cousins, but foams got way more love, even though FPs are arguably the better balling shoe.
It's a good question though, penny for your thoughts.
On an unrelated note, rocking my FP2s today, these baddies hold up pretty well in wet weather.
people don't buy foams because of penny. the foam pros don't even don any penny branding.
also, of all the years I've been messing with foams, I've never head someone say they rock them because of penny.

man the zipper is what makes me rock these casually, better than the GlovesOne word: ZIPPERI'm not complaining, but why didn't the Flightposites ever become popular like the Foamposites? Foams and Flights are both amazingly innovative and look great, but...
Foams can be worn on the court and casually and are genuinly comfortable. Flightposites (1s, KGs and 3s) might be ok to ball in, but with the terribly uncomfortable (and tight) zipper on the 1s and KGs and even worse magnetic strap on the 3s they're genuinly more trouble than they're worth to wear.
I have more than my fair share of each, but haven't worn FPs casually in 15 years...
